Three NECIR interns are finalists in the prestigious 2011 Livingston Awards for Young Journalists for their 2011 series on disparities in sentencing for juvenile murderers in Massachusetts entitled: “Our Youngest Killers: Juveniles Serving Life Without Parole in Massachusetts.” Winners announced June 6.
